    Muster

Muster is the tabletop we're building for Draw Steel. The Director and every player join one live board from their own browser, the rules are handled as you play, and everyone sees every roll as it happens.

This 3D battle map of a courtyard shows four hero tokens facing a Human Blackguard, with the Chronicle listing the round's rolls on the left, the Director's Malice in the corner, and the Tactician's triggered actions offered along the bottom.
This is a fight at our own table, at the moment the Tactician can react to a Zweihander Swing.

    For players

Read every ability before you use it

Your hero's actions sit in one bar at the bottom of the screen, split into main actions, maneuvers and moves. Hover over any of them to read its full card in the book's own words.

    Roll your own dice

You can press Roll and watch the dice tumble onto the board, or type in the dice you rolled at the table. Everyone sees the result.

    React when you can

When something you can react to happens, the table offers you the choice at that moment, so a triggered action doesn't slip by.

Plot your move, then make it

You click out your move square by square and see what it costs. You can change it before you confirm, and then your token walks the path.

    Build your hero

You make your hero step by step, reading each option in the book's words before you choose it, and you bring the finished hero to the table.

    For the Director

    Run the fight your way

The table tracks your Malice, and before you use an ability it shows you what each tier would do. Anything the table doesn't play yet is marked "by hand", so you play it yourself.

Keep your monsters' numbers to yourself

Your players see a health bar for each monster and never its Stamina, so a big hit still feels big without giving the fight away.

    Take back a mistake

Rewind goes back one step at a time, so you can undo a single move or roll without replaying the turn.

Build the battle and the map

You choose monsters from their stat blocks against your party's budget, then upload a battle map, line up its grid, paint its heights and terrain, and place everyone on it.
